More about Mr. Mahmoud Sasaa
As an Arabic Language Instructor, textbook author, and curriculum designer, Mahmoud Sasaa has dedicated his career to making Arabic accessible and enjoyable for students worldwide. He believes in a student-centred approach to language learning, and it shows in the success stories of his students.
Recently, some of my online students role-played a conversation in a florist shop—and it left me in awe. Their use of language, the subtle humor, and the kindness they displayed to another customer were nothing short of masterful. It felt as though I were there with them, a silent observer, smiling at the warmth and skill with which they navigated the conversation. It was a beautiful reminder of the power of student-driven learning and how it not only transforms the learners’ lives but also enriches mine as an instructor.
🌱 Why I Teach: Teaching Arabic isn’t just about memorizing words and grammar; it’s about connecting people, sharing cultures, and fostering empathy and understanding. Moments like these reaffirm why I chose this path.
